Yoxall Community Time Capsule – We are living through history!

Take a moment to capture your experience of lockdown for the next generation to look back on.

Will it be a lockdown haircut, family games, new recipes or walks around the village……. the choices are endless!

Yoxall St Peters Primary School, in conjunction with Yoxall Parish Council are proud to be creating a time capsule to capture life in lockdown in Yoxall.

The School PTA (FOSPS -Friends of St Peters School) have a time capsule pack for you to buy at a cost of £5 each, or £10 for a family pack. Inside each pack will be a container to place your ‘momentos’ and records of this unprecedented time in history, pre-printed questions and sheets to capture your experience, as well as a name card.

All fundraising will be used for the development of the forest school area within the school grounds.

The time capsule will be given a 25 year’ recommended re-opening! All containers will be placed inside a watertight ‘time capsule’ to be buried within the village at Goose Green. We hope to hold a commemorative event in the Spring once restrictions allow.
