The aim of the week is to discuss environmental issues with our planet while allowing people to engage with the world/population as one community and as a place we all need to look after and cherish together. The events of the last year, which are still ongoing, have taught us a lot and have hopefully taught us how to be more understanding and compassionate, whist inspiring us to think about what is truly important. We hope to explore this through many areas of the curriculum and give children the opportunity for some much needed ‘therapy’. Through discussion, sharing, new ways of thinking and a newfound respect for people, hopefully we can collaborate to show our appreciation of our world and of each other.
We would like to invite all members of the community to add to our display with their own ‘life mantras’ or inspirational quotes which contribute to our theme. Other members of our community may have their own pieces of art work or letters to ‘someone new on our planet’ that they would like to contribute. We suggest they are laminated!
The display will be available to see at the end of the school day on March 19th. We do respectfully ask that you adhere to social distancing rules and avoid crowding the area. The display will remain on the school railings for the foreseeable future and we would love to see your contributions.
Kind Regards
Mrs Morris
