We missed World Book Day on 1st March so we are going to have another go on 4th May!
This year’s theme is Classic Children’s Literature. We’d like the children to come dressed as a character from a Classic example of children’s literature – and more importantly, we would like them to have either read the story or had it read to them. There will be a Mastermind Quiz, hosted by Magnet Magnetson, throughout the week (the Big Black Chair is being dusted down!)with children able to demonstrate their knowledge of their chosen book, so if your child thinks they might be able to answer a few questions on their book, that would be great!
Here’s a list of classic children’s literature: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_children%27s_classic_books

As usual we are inviting parents in to read with their children on the Thursday and then the MasterMind quiz final will take place on Friday 4th May, in the place of our normal merit assembly. The parents of the children participating will be welcome to attend this assembly.
