CRICKET
On Monday, 12th July, 20 children represented our school in the first ever JTMAT Cricket Tournament. Our children, as ever, played superbly and showcased their cricket skills. They worked closely as a team, showing determination to succeed and played many different schools in the MAT. Our team went through to the final against Mosely and were victorious in lifting a brand new glass trophy.
I am extremely proud of all of the children, not only for their excellent cricket skills, but for the way that they show respect, teamwork and sportsmanship, on and off the pitch. Sport really is a great way to learn life long skills!
ROUNDERS BAT COMPETITION
Class 4 and 5 entered a competition to win their own design printed onto a rounders bat and also bats for the school! Thomas H, from class 5 has won with his design which had emojis on!
Well done everyone, I am extremely proud.
