FOSPS are busy making plans for the run up to Christmas, with ‘Bubble Bazaars’ and more!

The first of our fun activities for the children will be the Pumpkin Decoration competition on 5th November. It’s a perfect crafting excuse for any wet weather days in the holidays. The size, colour or shape of your chosen autumn vegetable does not matter but just make sure it’s decorated with either a seasonal pattern, brilliant face or cheeky animal design and has your child’s name and class clearly written (in sharpie) on the back of the pumpkin or gourd. There will be a prize for each category, within each school bubble, so get decorating! If carving doesn’t appeal perhaps use paint or colourful sharpies (or even glitter, wool and sequins) if you prefer. Lots of inspiration can be found on Pinterest, but avoid Halloween themes please. This is an activity to provide a bit of fun and colour after half term, but please remember your £1 per pumpkin for the bucket on the school gate (or at Badgers).
